:bulletblue: A MYSTERIOUS SIDE :bulletblue:

As artists, we tend to draw our characters with a beautiful and perfectly apparent face. And sometimes we forget about how cool and inspiring characters can be when we can't see their whole face. Remember how Sheik from Zelda, Amon from Legend of Korra, Master Chief from Halo, Kakashi from Naruto were (and still are) thrilling characters! And how, in every movie, a masked ball scenery can become so magical to us, viewers.
Let the imagination of your viewers define the mysterious side of your character.
What can I draw?
One or several characters with its face hidden or partially hidd
Quick guys it's fun and there's only a week left lol

I used the left largest photo  from STOCK - Dramatic Mask by LaLunatique  but altered the character's left arm to look like the one from the largest pic on the right . I drew this lady dressed somewhat in Philippine indigenous clothes to reflect the oppression our country has been going through since we've first been invaded by colonializers. Even though we're pretty much living our lives as free people, we are still oppressed by issues such as poverty, corruption in the government, and civil war. Yes, guys, it can technically be said that our country is in civil war. :'I

The hands, of course, represent the circumstances that the girl is forced to endure. Vulnerable and afraid, she has to hide her fears and frustrations underneath a mask. (You guys know how Filipinos still tend to smile in the face of natural calamities, right? :) To keep up their morale, Filipinos love to smile.)

And as you can see, the mask has a crack on it. Inside, Filipinos just have had enough of it, and are ready to fight back. Who knows, maybe one day...

Sorry for being uber-nationalistic, it's just that it's August and August here is Buwan ng Wika, or the month of our language :D But in a way, she can be used to represent other forms of oppression too, whether it be because of her class, race, or gender.

Okay storytime over I have to study frog slides now bye
